Robyn the Cancer Hawk

Robyn Stoller’s husband was diagnosed with cancer as a young man. During their battle, Robyn and her husband learned about dozens of groups whose purpose is to help cancer patients and their caregivers on their journey. However, because there was no centralized guide to these cancer organizations, finding them could be as challenging and confusing as the disease itself.  After her husband’s death, Robyn created CancerHAWK, a blog that helps patients and families navigate and access vital information and resources.

Robyn, thank you for your kind words about Champions. It was an honor to work with you, and appreciate your ongoing support.

    Hi Robyn!
I loved hearing your voice, and your story. I didn’t know you had been through so much.

You are right- there is so much information to dig through on the Web, and while it is good, most cancer patients- when they initially find out they have it, are mentally traumatized. Most need info usually right away. Everyone’s sickness is truly unique, which is why I think blogs that are “problem specific” are great, and I applaud each one.

I am so glad you have the “gift of connections”! (it was funny the way you described yourself-a modern day “Hello Dolly”). The cancer community is blessed to have your hard-earned “know-how”! Thank you! Xo
