My name is Ronald Williams. My age is 58. I was diagnosed with lymphomere cancer, Hodgson’s disease. I’m volunteering now. And it’s just a pleasure to be able to give back because I can pretty much relate to what the patients are going through, their conditions, and because I was there and I went through it myself.

When I was diagnosed, I was going through detox and everything because before I was diagnosed I was a heavy drinker. I had to deal with that. Throughout my chemo treatments and everything, they made me sick and nauseated. I had two strokes. God bought me out of that. They did everything they could do. And I was, when I was sent home, I truly believe I was sent home to die.

Yeah, I could be wrong. But God had something else in store for my life. As time went on, this is not nothing that’s happened overnight. This gradually happened throughout the year of 2010 and also 11. Throughout those two years, it was a learning process. I had to really learn how to walk over again. And that took time because I had lost, I didn’t want to eat.

But the one thing I loved were drinking those insures. It gave me nourishment that I needed that I wasn’t getting from not eating. It was a learning end. They helped me a lot, but as time went on, I finally got strong enough to make it to my front door. I’ll never forget it. It was a nice sunny day. I felt that sunshine.

I said, God, if you deliver me from this, I promise you, like I said before, that I will serve you, Lord Jesus. And I started getting stronger and stronger. Then I came from 135, now I’m up to 230 pounds. And when they see me now, they just look at me and they shake their head because they’re amazed at where I, where I’ve come from.

Whatever your high power is, I prefer to call him God Almighty. To have faith and believe and just talk to Him. He hears your prayers. He knows what’s in your heart, what He’s done for me, like I say, there’s no perspective of a person. And what He’s done for me, He can truly do for you. You just have to believe that.

And anytime you need to believe, even if you don’t believe, try. What can you lose? Just try. And I guarantee you, He’ll come through. He’ll pull you through this mess. And you’ll look back and one day you’ll be sitting and, you might be sitting in my place where I am right now. And I just want to just say, if you just have faith in God, and just, you don’t have to be all fancy, He’s your Heavenly Father, and He truly loves you.

He loves you. Just go to Him and just say, God, Jesus, help me. I need you to be in my life. I need you to heal my body. And I guarantee you, He will.
